Meet Our Staff

  • Hope Lehman

    -Executive Director

    Hope Lehman has been in youth ministry since 1994 with a background in YFC Parent Life and Campus Life. She moved to Muncie in 2004 and began working at Muncie Area YFC then went on to work at Union Chapel’s oneighty for five years before coming back to YFC in 2011!

    She’s been married to Kraig Lehman since 1992 and has four children: Hope Erin, Chase, Peyton, and Xander, a son-in-law: Tristan Noble, a daughter-in-law: Breannah Lehman, two granchildren: Maxine and Willow, and another on the way!

    Hope's favorite food is Mexican and she could eat at Puerto everyday if the YFC staff and her family would let her! She’s an avid fan of Mickey Mouse and Cinderella, and enjoys cheering for her Steelers!

  • Tammy Varner

    -Executive Assistant

    Tammy joined the YFC staff in 2014. She is a former preschool director at First Presbyterian Church Preschool and worked for Marsh Supermarkets for many years. 

    Tammy and husband, Steve, have been married over 30 years and have thee children, two daughter in laws and two grandchildren.  

    Tammy also claims many other friends as her children and they, and the YFC staff, refer to her as Mom or Mamma Tammy!  

    She loves baking cookies, hiking and traveling with her husband, being "Mia" to her grandkids and taking pictures!  

  • Amy Hurt

    -Administrative Assistant

    Amy Hurt joined YFC in 2018 in a part-time capacity, as an administrative assistant. She works full-time at Ball State University.

    Amy has been married to her husband Darryl since 2012 and they have one child, Lolah. She and Darryl enjoy their time playing with Lolah and being with their extended family. Her favorite foods are Italian and Mexican. Her favorite restaurants are Pizza King and Texas Roadhouse.

    Amy continues to be excited about the YFC ministry and how we can bring youth to Christ in our local community!

  • Jon Hopkins

    -City Life Ministry Director

    Jon grew up helping his father in ministry and knew that ministry was going to be a large part of his life. He moved to Muncie in 2017 and became the Outreach Coordinator at Wesleyan Chapel Church. In 2020 he accepted the position of Youth Pastor at his church, and in 2021 he became the City Life Ministry Director for Muncie Area YFC. 

    Jon married his beautiful wife, Corina, in 2013, and they adopted their son Reece in 2019. They also have a miracle baby girl on the way! Outside of ministry Jon works part-time for a local maintenance and construction company doing general maintenance and appliance repairs. 

    In his spare time Jon loves spending time with his family, fishing, walking the Cardinal Greenway, and eating at local restaurants and ice cream stands. His favorite Muncie area restaurants include Puerto, Chocolate Moose, Merks, and Roots. He loves watching sports and cheers for the Colts, University of Kentucky basketball, and the St Louis Cardinals. 

  • Allison Inman

    -Cowan Campus Life Director

    Allison Inman is our Cowan Campus Life Director. She started out as a Campus Life parent, with a student who has been involved since 6th grade. She then started volunteering in 2019 before assuming the position of Director in 2020.

    Allison and her husband, Christopher, who is also serving YFC as a Campus Life volunteer, have been married for 14 years. They have a freshman daughter, Taylor, who is actively involved with Campus Life, Core Team, and Cowan Volleyball. They also have a son, Lucas, who is in 4th grade at Cowan, and is very (im)patiently waiting to be a Campus Life kiddo himself!

    Allison has an Early Childhood Education degree, with much of her background being in preschool. She has a combined 14 years of teaching and directing at local area preschools in Muncie, and still currently serves part-time as an Accreditation Coach for United Day Care Center.

    In her free time Allison loves to read, sing, and spend time outdoors with her family. They love to be on the lakes with their boat and jet skis in the summer, on snowmobiles in the winter, and their 4-wheeler year round!

  • Hope Noble

    -Delta Campus Life Director

    Hope is a Delta graduate and a lifelong Campus Life kid. She's been on staff since 2019 and volunteered prior to that. In that time she has grown in her walk with Jesus, learned what it means to truly be a disciple, and enjoys helping students in their own discipleship journeys. 

    Hope is married to her high school sweetheart, Tristan. Together they have two biological daughters, Maxine and Willow and they are foster parents. In her spare time, Hope likes to read, go on outdoor adventures, and travel. She always has laundry that needs folded and loves having people over.

  • Daniel Ivy

    -Juvenile Justice Ministry (JJM) Director

    Danny is the Juvenile Justice Ministry Director (JJM). He is from Muncie and retired from the Muncie Fire Department after 30 years of service.  He also retired from the Indiana Army National Guard after 31 years of service. He was a battalion chief on the fire department and a LTC in the National Guard.  He is a father of five (one son and four daughters) and a grandfather of five (three boys and two girls). 

    He has a passion for our youth and for serving Jesus, and states this is the perfect job for him because he gets to do both.  Danny is excited to build authentic Christ centered relationships with the youth in our area. 

  • Keith Willis

    -Yorktown Campus Life Director/Community Engagement Director

    Keith is a Muncie, IN native where he and his wife grew up together and now live with their two sons. He spent four years in North Carolina working on a degree in youth ministry and most recently served as a pastor in Athens, Georgia. Before leaving to begin work on his Masters of Divinity, Keith worked in non profits and churches in Muncie.

    Keith is currently the Campus Life Director for Yorktown Schools and Community Engagement Director. He is excited about the opportunity to partner with churches and parents to show the love of Christ and help students discover what it means to follow Jesus.

    He enjoys music, travel, reading, great coffee, and is excited to return home and contribute to the good of the Muncie area and make a difference in the lives of the families in Yorktown.
